August 4, 2015 Anderson Indiana-based green tech startup Go Electric is in Washington, D.C., today to pitch at the first-ever White House Demo Day, hosted by President Barack Obama.
White House Demo Day features startups from across the nation demonstrating their company’s innovations and founding stories. Unlike a private-sector Demo Day, where entrepreneurs “pitch” their ideas to funders, entrepreneurs will join President Obama to “demo” their individual success stories and show why we need to give every American the opportunity to pursue their bold, game-changing ideas.
Go Electric is developing energy services solutions that accelerate a renewable energy future for America. The company’s patented LYNC™ technology seamlessly integrates solar, wind, generators and batteries; optimizes those energy resources and delivers energy services that stabilize the grid and ensure businesses have secure, low cost power 24/7. Go Electric was founded in 2011 in Anderson, Indiana by Lisa Laughner, and has grown to five employees and over $2 mil in revenue.
The White House Demo Day event will be webcast live at www.whitehouse.gov/live , starting at 3:40 pm EDT
